Our farmhouse is partly dedicated to a holiday home and is nested in our garden-park on a hilltop surrounded by the beauty of the countryside.
The farmhouse is located about 250 meters above sea level, between the ancient villages of Acquaviva Picena and Monteprandone. You can enjoy an amazing all round view of the extraordinary Piceno territory, rich in history, with its medieval towns and breath taking landscapes, where the sea, the rolling hills and the mountains merge into an enchanting and harmonious element that offers this scenery.
The two apartments that we rent for weekly stays are very comfortable and welcoming. They have fully independent entrances and have exclusive terraces which offer stunning views. They are adjacent to the family home and placed in the context of an ancient farmhouse which has been totally renovated respecting the existing materials and enhancing the original architectural structure pertaining to the local traditions.
Our property is set in a privileged location in a most captivating and culturally vibrant area of the Marche region, which has yet to be discovered and exploited from a touristic and nature point of view.
The Marche territory is a place where, thanks to its ancient history and deepest traditions, you can discover the delicacies of its food and wine products not to mention the famous stuffed olives “all’ascolana”. It is a land of artisans and quality craftsmanship products, renowned in particular for its footwear.
Thanks to the position of the sunny hills, the area is particularly suitable for vineyards and olive groves. It favours the production of refined olive oils and exceptional wines deriving from grapes which produce wines such as the Rosso Piceno Superiore and the Pecorino and Passerina wine.
Visitors who like to go hiking, trekking and mountain biking, as well as those who like to discover itineraries and nature trails can take advantage of the endless opportunities that the entire beautiful province of Ascoli Piceno offers. In particular, the national park of the Sibillini mountains and the nearby National Parks of the Gran Sasso and the Laga Mountains.
On the other hand, those who love to enjoy the sea can easily reach the coast and take pleasure in admiring the wonderful “Riveria delle Palme” a focal point along the Adriatic coast which boasts an important fishing and tourist port called San Benedetto del Tronto. The area offers endless free sandy beaches as well as beach huts. A bike path runs directly along the sea front and connects up to 20 Km. of this amazing coastline.
